It was another close one with our Lady Chieftains coming out on top 8-6 over Vista.

1st Quarter

Amara Taylor #6, our Goalie, started the game with a nice save.  Mya Gennerman, #10 had a great assist to Cayden Dulaney #2 for the first goal of the game.  Iris Hallin, #19 got the next draw and went down for a shot however their Goalie blocked it.  Amara had another save on the other end.  Then Vista got hot and scored 3 consecutive goals to go ahead 1-3.  Mya scored on a penalty shot to end the quarter 2-3.

2^nd Quarter

Amara started off this quarter with another save.  Mya score a goal to tie the game 3-3 and then Autumn followed with the go ahead goal to put the Chieftains on top 4-3.  Mya had an assist to Chloe Kelly, #18 who drew a penalty.  Chloe then had a nice penalty shot however their Goalie blocked it.

3^rd Quarter

Vista scored early in the quarter to tie the game 4-4. Amara had another nice save and then Iris had a beautiful assist to Mya for a goal to go ahead 5-4. Vista answered with a goal to tie the game again!.  Iris got a second yellow card and was out the remainder of the game. Vista scored to retake the lead 6-5.

4^th Quarter

Autumn scored off a penalty for another tie 6-6.  Addy Gennerman, #11 had an assist to Mya for a the go ahead goal 7-6 and Mya scored again on a penalty shot to go up 8-6.  Natalia had a beautiful interception to keep the ball with the Chieftains and run the clock out to end the game.

There were 5 lead changes to make it a very exciting game.

Every player on the field was hustling as ground balls were spread out amongst all.

Amara had 8 saves. Iris, Mya and Caden controlled the draw 11 times.
