Clairemont Boys Lacrosse dominated yet again defeating Canyon Hills 16-4. Our Chieftains came out with a strong showing Wednesday night. #15 Jessen Heide won 7 faceoffs in quarter 1 and moved the ball with speed and finesse to his teammates. #12 Sean Wicks scored within the 1st minute while #2 John D’Acquisto assisted his 2 teammates: #7 Gavin Benitez and #12 who scored again earning 3 points in the first 2 minutes! Heide kept winning possession and ran the ball hard dodging through Canyon Hills players. This time, Wicks and #3 Ollie Klaus had the assists to D’Acquisto’s 2 goals. The Chiefs were up 5-0 into the 1st 4 minutes of the game! Then, #8 Jonny Stockman had a hat trick to end the first quarter 8-0! The Chiefs kept the momentum going in the second half with 4 more assists by Stockman, an assist and a goal by Klaus and another goal each for Benitez and D’Acquisto. #10 Tyler Allen was not only a powerhouse on the field; he scored 3 goals finishing the game and bringing the final score to 16-4 and the Chieftain Boys Lacrosse 2026 team are league champions!!!
